Privacy Policy

SWATO, INC. (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") understands that it is the social responsibility of a corporation to handle personal information properly under the principles of the protection of personal rights and interests, and applies the following basic policies toward protecting personal information and earning the public trust.

  1. When the Company will gather personal information (hereinafter referred to information that can be used to identify a specific individual) the purpose of use will be identified to the extent possible and personal information will be gathered to the scope agreed upon by the customer.
  2. The Company will use personal information within the scope required to achieve the purpose of use. When there is a need to use personal information beyond this scope, excluding when mandated by law, consent will be obtained regarding use.
  3. The Company will designate a personal information management supervisor for each organization handling personal information and will work to ensure appropriate management, including preventative and corrective action for unauthorized access, loss, damage, and modification of personal information.
  4. Excluding when prior consent is received or when mandated by law, the Company will not provide personal information to any third party. Furthermore, when it is necessary to provide personal information to a third party, provided information will be limited in necessary scope, the obligation to manage personal information will be set forth in a contract, etc., and appropriate management will be implemented.
  5. The Company will conduct identity confirmation and respond properly to complaints, inquiries, and requests for corrections related to personal information received from the individual.
  6. The Company will comply with applicable personal information laws and codes as well as organize internal regulations for the appropriate handling of personal information as well as the training of internal employees and the implementation of internal audits to evaluate the initiatives outlined above and achieve continuous improvements to internal systems.
