On June 1st 2022, “Hanwa Hospital・Hanwa Memorial Hospital” was newly built and opened by integrating four hospitals. We drilled two wells and supplied the required amount of water with a system set up in two 20 feet containers. We have started the system called “Dedicated Water Supply” which suits the latest hospital construction in preparation for disasters.
On May 10th 2022, A new well was dug at Seikeikai Hospital, which took over the former Sakai City Hospital, and a system that connected two 20 feet containers in series was put into operation. In preparation for tsunami, flooding caused by a major disaster, the system is installed 70cm above the ground.
On October 1st 2020, we started supplying water from the latest water supply system which we have re-positioned in a 40 feet container. The purpose of changing from the usual outdoor specification to the inside of the container is to protect the equipment from major disasters such as earthquakes, typhoons, and abnormal heavy rain. With emergency power systems, hospitals are able to use water as usual even in the event of a disaster.
On September 10th 2018, we started supplying water at Hanwa Izumi Hospital with the system we have installed. Even in the event of a water outage due to a major earthquake or a natural disaster, it is possible to generate fresh water using private power generation.

On January 14th 2018 (Local Time), Prime Minister Abe of Japan visited Sophia in the Republic of Bulgaria and he held a meeting with Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov. An expanded summit meeting was held thereafter with Japanese companies and our CEO Shigeru KOTANIGUCHI also participated.
